“My choice is to help my own village, if possible.” Those were the words of Mary LeMoine Potter in the will that established a fund in her name at the Rhode Island Foundation to benefit Kingston. According to her wishes, the net income from her endowment is used to support organizations and projects primarily benefiting residents of the historic village of Kingston.

Grants generally range between $4,000 and $16,000.

Applications must be submitted by 3:00 p.m. (EST) on March 10, 2025. Please note that no technical assistance will be available after 5 p.m. (EST).

A complete application package includes:

• A proposal narrative, found within the application; and
• A current list of the applying organization's board of directors attached to the application.
