We use tools such as cookies, web beacons, heatmaps, and session replays to gather information about how visitors navigate and use our website.
“Cookies” are small text files that include a unique identifier that is sent by a web server to the browser on your computer, mobile phone, or any other internet-enabled device when you visit an online site.
“Web beacons” (also known as clear gifs, tags, or pixels) are electronic files on our website that allow us (and third-party service providers acting on our behalf) to track users’ experience on our website, including browsing activity, pages visited, and actions taken (such as signing up for an event or making a donation). We may also carry web beacons placed by third-party advertisers.
The information and website statistics we (and our third-party service providers) collect and process using these tools helps us deliver a more personalized experience, customize our marketing programs, and improve website performance.
Some internet browsers allow you to change your cookies settings through an “Options” or “Preferences” menu. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. You may also delete existing cookies through your browser. Flash cookies operate differently than browser cookies, and cookie management tools available in a web browser will not remove flash cookies. To learn more about how to manage flash cookies, you can visit the Adobe website and make changes at the Global Privacy Settings Panel. Please note that certain features or functionality of our website may become unavailable if you set your preferences to block all cookies.
We work with a third-party website hosting company as well as with third-party analytics companies such as Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity (and may in the future also work with other third-party service providers) to help us track and analyze visitor activity on our website, measure the effectiveness of and enhance our marketing efforts, and optimize the overall visitor experience. Some of these analytics companies (such as Microsoft Clarity) also use the collected information to provide advertisements for other products and services they believe may be of interest to you. When you access our website, your web browser automatically sends certain information regarding you and your use of our website (such as the type of device you are using, how you found our website and the web pages you visit) to these service providers. By accessing our website, you consent to the collection and use of your information by them. If you do not want any information to be collected and used as described in this paragraph, you can download and install the Network Advertising Initiative Opt-Out Tool (here) or Digital Advertising Alliance Opt-Out Tool (here). You can learn how Google uses the information from your web browser (here) and how Microsoft Clarity uses the information from your web browser (here). You are encouraged to review Google’s Privacy Policy (here) and Microsoft’s Privacy Policy (here). You can opt out of Google Analytics features by downloading and installing Google Analytics’ Opt-out Browser Add-on (here).
