Equalizing Opportunity: Creating a Fair and Transparent Funding System for Rhode Island’s Public Schools

Rhode Island's school funding system needs an update—and after a year of work, a Blue Ribbon Commission has a plan to fix it. With research and support from Brown University's Annenberg Institute, local education leaders and community partners have come together around recommendations for a fairer, more equitable funding system that meets the needs of today's students and families.
