The Foundation is currently seeking a Vice President of Development, responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive fundraising program. The Vice President of Development, through positive and productive collaboration with all Foundation departments, is responsible for the management and leadership of all new business development, gift planning, professional advisor outreach, and donor service and stewardship activities of the organization. This senior-level position serves as a member of the Foundation’s Leadership Team reporting to the President and CEO. 

The ideal candidate must be a strategic leader with a proven ability to identify, cultivate, and solicit prospective donors; develop and adopt new fundraising strategies to enhance outreach and engagement of new audiences, as well as design and implement strategies to cultivate and engage prospective donors in discretionary grant support, co-funding, and initiative support.

A bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 10 years of experience in a significant development capacity with a proven record of accomplishment or equivalent relevant experience are requirements for this position. The creative and highly motivated candidate will have the ability to lead a results-oriented staff and proactively embrace shifts in Foundation priorities and needs. A prospective candidate will also demonstrate superior written, verbal, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
