Essential for a thriving Rhode Island
Through deep engagement and discussion with the public, collaboration with our partners, research, and data analysis, we identified six community priorities that are essential for a thriving Rhode Island.
These priorities were consistently voiced by the community we serve and will guide our efforts in the years ahead. As the state's community foundation, we will continue to address Rhode Island's most pressing needs and advance promising solutions, with an eye for equity and a heart for all.

Strengthening capabilities
The Foundation offers a variety of free learning and leadership development opportunities that strengthen the capabilities of individuals, organizations, and the social impact sector in Rhode Island.
This includes our new partnership with the Institute for Nonprofit Practice (INP) which offers programs that are intended to bolster leadership pipelines and build capacity for organizations that work in fields associated with the Foundation's six Community Priorities.

Impact you can see and feel
We’re looking for partners - nonprofit organizations, for-profit companies, and government entities - interested in multiplying the social impact we can have together.
Impact investing enable us to align financial investments with our mission, to deploy more of our capital to benefit Rhode Island, and to support larger scale and/or different kinds of projects than we typically do through our grant programs.
Our new partnership with INP
We now offer three transformative programs intended to bolster leadership pipelines & build capacity for organizations that work in fields associated with our Community Priorities through our partnership with INP.
