Grants from the Moran-Ventre Charitable Fund support initiatives serving Rhode Island residents with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Organizations may complete the Small Grants Program application to apply for this grant.

Grants generally range between $1,000 and $2,500.

Application deadline

Applications must be submitted by 3:00 p.m. (EST) on September 14, 2026. Please note that no technical assistance will be available after 5 p.m. (EST).

A complete application package includes:

• Completed application form*, submitted through our online system; (*Please complete the Small Grant Programs application to apply for this grant.)
• Completed budget form, also submitted through our online system;
• A proposal narrative, found within the application; and
• A current list of the applying organization's board of directors attached to the application.

Applications are available six weeks prior to the deadline.
