Make it Happen: Investing for Rhode Island’s Future is a Rhode Island Foundation-led initiative which developed recommendations for state leaders to consider as they decide how to spend the $1.1 billion in funding the state is set to receive from the federal American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).

Throughout the six month long project, the Foundation worked in partnership with the Economic Progress Institute, the Rhode Island Public Expenditure Council, and the Foundation’s Make it Happen Steering Committee to combine rigorous policy analysis, public, and stakeholder input, to develop a set of spending recommendations that have the potential to move Rhode Island forward.
