Grants Database Analyst

The Foundation is currently seeking a Grants Database Analyst, a position that is an integral part of ensuring the accurate, timely, and efficient flow of information related to the management of the Foundation’s grants programs.
The Grants Database Analyst works as part of a dynamic team that has responsibility for key operational and administrative procedures that support the effective and efficient operations of the Foundation’s discretionary grants, donor advised grants, scholarships, and special funds programs. The position requires working with two databases, responding to requests for assistance from grantees, assisting with the processing of award letters to recipients, and analyzing and reporting on the data within each system as needed. The Grants Database Analyst helps to ensure the integrity, maintenance, and updating of information across all grant programs.
Accuracy and attention to detail are essential to successfully filling the requirements of this job.
The Grants Database Analyst will be a member of the Foundation’s Technology and Operations Management department, reporting to the Vice President of Technology & Operations Management.
The ideal candidate will have a degree in the field of data management or five years of proven work experience. Certifications in database administration or related specialty preferred. Proficiency with databases and the ability to learn new programs quickly is required. Familiarity with Blackbaud FIMS (Foundation Information Management System), SQL, Excel, Access, Word, Blackbaud Grantmaking, Raiser’s Edge, Tableau, Salesforce, or experience with granting or grant funded programs is a plus.
