Administrative Assistant: Human Resources and Finance

The Foundation is currently seeking an Administrative Assistant to work across our Human Resources and Finance Departments, to support the Vice President of Human Resources and the Vice President of Finance & Chief Financial Officer and department staff, with a strong focus on attention to detail, customer service, accuracy, and speed.

Duties include direct high-level customer service to our internal and external customers (including Foundation Board members in their committee-member roles), scheduling and calendar management on behalf of department staff, coordinating meeting preparation logistics, working with confidential data containing salaries and budget information, and other administrative tasks, such as generating and managing Excel reports and managing certain committee contact databases.

Accuracy and extreme attention to detail are essential to successfully filling the requirements of this job.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of two years’ experience as an administrative professional, experience in a professional office setting with customer contact, the ability to balance competing priorities and work with multiple team members in a collaborative manner, and exceptional organizational skills.

The ideal candidate will have a proficiency in Microsoft Office suite programs, and familiarity working with databases, as well as excellent interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on a high-level customer service approach.

A college degree or administrative assistant certificate is preferred.
