Civic Leadership Fund

Transformative change requires leadership and commitment. The Civic Leadership Fund allows us to go beyond our traditional grantmaking to quickly and directly tackle the day's most important issues.

The Fund has inspired our work in many ways. Launch the brochure for proof.

A permanent fund honors the memory of Charles P. Lee.

The Civic Leadership Fund allows us to access resources in real time, seize fresh opportunities, and meet emerging challenges. Launch our brochure to learn more.

Be a part of the solution now

We believe that when committed citizens come together, creative and meaningful change can happen. We need to respond to today's needs - now - and find solutions that serve us long-term.

The Civic Leadership Fund is set up for immediate use, so it enables us to seize fresh opportunities, meet emerging challenges and continue our work as a connector and a convener. We do not accept applications for funding through the Civic Leadership Fund.

With Civic Leadership funds, we:

  • examine issues by commissioning research
  • create conversation through public affairs programs
  • advocate for policy change
  • convene leaders and incubate innovative ideas to craft solutions

Our Vision: A Rhode Island where people with diverse interests, backgrounds, and means come together for the greater good. Now, more than ever, our state needs you to step forward and work with us.

Give to the Civic Leadership Fund

We thank the many people and organizations who made generous contributions of more than $600,000 to the Civic Leadership Fund in 2018.
